It sounds as if it stays in gear very long, making the sound rev a lot.

I will give advice on how I deal with sand tracks and hopefully this will help you. It was a struggle to get silver and I can't see myself getting gold on these, so that pretty much ends my Trackmania campaign unfortunately. I have spent more time on the sand tracks than any other. Any slight movement will cause your car to jerk off course.

The fact that it isn't like the game you prefer doesn't make this a bad game, it just means it might not appeal to you as much. Now I try something and just get frustrated and start to not enjoy it.If I want to do the black tracks am I allowed to get a silver on everything from here on out and then just use a joker medal on every level? Is there a limit on how many tracks I use a joker on?Also, anyone else having the problem on multilap tracks where the display freezes for a few seconds when you hit the new lap? The game keeps running, but the display freezes, so when it unfreezes you've crashed horrendously.I don't generally like it when people say things like "Well I like Forza and I would enjoy this game if it was more like Forza." Okay, that's fine, but this offers something different and unique. I was going for all golds and the earlier tracks were tough sometimes, but I would always persevere and get it. I dunno, like on track 62 I hit another wooden loop completely straight as far as my eye can tell and I still wind up spinning off to one side well over half the time.I know people have trackmastered all this, so it's not impossible, but I don't think that's a good mechanic. I'm onto green lagoon and tracks 62 and 63 can go screw themselves.I like the game overall, but I think some of the game mechanics are just straight up bad mechanics.
Trackmania 2 Stadium Car Stops Plus Beating The
If you do REALLY well on the early tracks you can skip some tracks and go straight ahead to later tracks. To unlock the extreme tracks you just need 96 medals (or something like that, plus beating the last hard track). One thing I like about Trials is that you don't have to master every track to get to the later tracks.
Trackmania requires all golds and 50 trackmaster medals. You just have to beat it for the achievement.Action Henk asks you to get rainbow medals for all the achievements. You can fault 499 times and take 29:59 if you want.
Only hold left if you start drifting wide and then hold left hard for the final turn into the finish. Even if you come off the loop jump to the left or right, it's possible to recover it if you wait until all wheels touch and then tap the direction you need to go.As for the big drift, just keep tapping left to keep turning while trying to stay as close to the inner edge as possible. Once you leave the turbo pads do not touch the steering until after the first jump in the loop and then tap the steering in the opposite direction if you start to drift. I'm onto green lagoon and tracks 62 and 63 can go screw themselves. Also, anyone else having the problem on multilap tracks where the display freezes for a few seconds when you hit the new lap? The game keeps running, but the display freezes, so when it unfreezes you've crashed horrendously.Never used a joker so I can't answer that, sorry.I have trackmaster on both of those tracks so I can try to help you out.Do track #63 first, not only is this track easier in my opinion but it will also give you a good feel for how to drift properly on wood surface which will help with track #62.So for #63, first thing off the bat is never brake on this track and also hold the gas for the entire level. There is a little time saver you can do at the start by going on the sand to the left of the 2 stacked red containers on the first turn (not the one with the blue container on top). When you jump from the road to the wooden loop, if you must adjust your steering only do it when all 4 wheels have landed and don't hold the direction, only tap it. I've completed some VERY difficult achievements (#3 on xbox for Badland: game of the year edition, one of many, but not a ton of people with all single player Kalimba achievements, several others).Regardless, this game is certainly difficult and has strict requirements.ORIGENxGarboMan said: Yeah I'm much further now and I REALLY hate the wood surfaces. I'm all for a difficult achievement list.
I find drifting on road to be hard to do cleanly but all other surfaces are cake.I hope this helps you, let me know how you do. Don't make the mistake thinking you will slide on the turbo pads, turn left AFTER.Once you understand how to drift on all the slippery surfaces on this game, it is actually very easy. It might feel like you are not holding gas for a long time but trust me this is 100% consistent and faster than the gold medal. The last corner should be easy, hold left after the turbo pads and then tap to adjust steering. As soon as you pass the arrows let go of the gas and hold right, only press the gas again when you think you will cleanly clear the corner, if you are unsure you can tap the gas while turning to get a feel.As you go up the wooden ramp with the turbo pads, only tap to adjust your steering. When you come off the "magnet track" jump onto the wooden surface, let go of the gas as soon as all wheels touch the ground and tap left, as soon as you think you will make the corner hold/tap gas to get grip again.
I was outstanding graduate of the college of engineering in undergrad. I mean, I'm getting a doctorate in engineering (applied math). I say that not to boast, just to let you know. I had done that part before, but I just kinda panicked and took the turn WAY too tight. So I'm a reasonably smart guy.
I mean, I just skimmed what you wrote and basically had the tracks down right away. That being said, I'm abysmal at the execution on games like this.
